Tube Patching at the 400 Smith Street Co-op

Meredith, Tim, Zach, Karen, The Master Himself, and Rosco the dog all work together to patch tubes Wednesday. And yes, the photographer helped after snapping a few shots.

After some tube patching, many left. I on the other hand decided to get in everyone’s way. After riding a BMX bike, I decided to make my own, after all, the only trait a bike needs to have in order to be called a BMX is to be way too small for the rider. I pulled out this small girls bike, only to realize that it was missing the front inner tube. I removed a wheel from an even smaller boys bike and placed it on the bike. It required a bit of effort as the new wheel was wider than the original, and wouldn’t fit on the fork. Here Tim rides the bike. Later I tired to turn the bike around, and put a seat on the fork, and the handle bars coming from the seat post. However, things didn’t work out, so I’m not quite sure what I will do with it. Oh well.
